I first purchased Sadie Robertson’s book back when it was finally released in February and I have finally finished it from cover to cover and let me tell you it was so good.
While it may have taken me a while to get through it, that was mostly just for the fact that I was attempting to soak up every word on the pages.
Before I dive into a full-fledged review, let me start by telling you a little bit about Sadie, in case you haven’t heard of her.
Who is Sadie Robertson?
Sadie Roberton started out in the southern show Duck Dynasty. After gaining a platform she has preached, written books, and lived and breathed by the gospel.
Sadie is an inspiration to young girls everywhere who are chasing after a relationship with God. She has spread her message through various platforms, each one of them succeeds in their own way.
I’ve personally watched Sadie from the time she was a young girl on her family’s show to now and she has captivated the hearts of so many. Now, she is married, officially written two books, and continues to live her life in order to glorify God.

"Live" By Sadie Robertson
Live by Sadie Robertson is a book about love, confidence, faith, dance parties, and truly living for God. She covers topics that hit your heart straight on and leave you thinking for days. Sadie writes in a way that captivates you. It’s so apparent by her writing that every single word, heck every single letter, is sent from God.
The messages she pours out chapter after chapter are ones that we need to hear and begin living by now. What she’s preaching in Live, are concepts that I personally will keep returning to. I could read this book three more times and still benefit from reading it again.
My favorite thing about this book is that she focuses on things in our daily lives that we could improve or work on, and then ties it into God in such an intimate way. It’s very clear that each lesson is taken straight out of her own experience, and I love that.
It’s so inspiring to read about things we’ve been struggling with and how we can work to overcome them. She does such a fantastic job of showing and explaining her concepts in a way that is clear and understandable.

While reading this book, I honestly felt connected to not only Sadie but other girls who are probably dealing with similar issues. Knowing that what you may be going through is conquerable with God and reading that reassurance is so powerful, and that’s exactly what happened to me while reading this book.
I’m going to be really honest here, this morning when I woke up I was not feeling it. The day seemed dreary, everything felt a little pointless, and my self-confidence was spirling.
Eventually, I decided to go outside and take a little breather and on a whim, I brought Sadie’s book with me. I was pretty close to finishing so I figured why not. As soon as I opened the book, the chapter I had left off on was all about confidence and comparison, and let me tell you those words hit hard.
While reading I was continuously learning, improving my mindset, and realizing a few things I should probably start working on. Sadie’s book truly touched my heart. I’m so glad that I picked it up and read it, and I would encourage any other girl to do the same. No matter what hill or valley you’re in, I can guarantee that Sadie’s book will put some perspective on it.
