Doing your hair every morning can easily turn into a real struggle. Between having enough time, getting it just right, and even deciding what look to go with can discourage you from wavering away from your everyday style.
I totally get it. It’s the look you know, and have officially mastered, but doing something special to your hair can look super cute and it doesn’t have to be a hassle. Here are a few of my favorite looks that are far from difficult.
My first word of advice for switching up your hair is to use accessories. This may seem simple, but it can really make or break a look. It adds a nice touch to tie together an outfit. In this photo, all I did was pull my hair up halfway, but the hair tie makes it all come together.
Simple is better when it comes to hairstyles. You don’t have to overthink every look, just do what feels the most comfortable. If these hair ribbons aren’t your style, try out a headband or just a scrunchie. You truly can’t go wrong with an accessory.
For this next look, all you have to do is section off a little hair on the top of your hair and ponty tail it. The thickness of your hair, length, and cut, will all factor in when debating on how much hair to pull up into the ponytail. Personally, I like to pull up just enough to get the top section of my hair out of my face.
I love this look when your ponytail has some volume to it and it looks good from every angle. This is one of the looks that you have to play around with until you get it the way that’s right for you. If it ends up being messy, or not perfect, embrace it. Messy hair is still cute hair. For looks like this, I also like to use colored ponytails to tie it all together.
If you’re looking for an easy fix, this is the hairstyle for you. All you have to do is start with your natural part and on whichever side you choose, start braiding. With this look, you can do a few different things. You can start from the top and french braid into a single braid or just braid one section of hair.
Another thing you can do with this look is instead of braid, french tail. French tailing is a little more difficult than braiding and takes longer, but it makes the look a little more unique. This style is easy and takes no time at all, just a little bit of effort.
This hairstyle is my absolute favorite, and if you know me you know I do this to my hair all the time. It’s definitely one of the harder looks, but it is so worth it. I had never done this look until one day I was playing with my friend Madison’s hair and then viola my new favorite look. I’m not gonna lie it took a while to learn how to do it on myself, but once I figured it out I just couldn’t stop.
First, you’re going to want to part your hair in the middle, that way both sides look even. Then, french braid starting at the roots of your hair near the front. French braid until you get to the back of your head, then you can either keep braiding or ponytail it there. Then repeat for the other side. When you first start out use hairspray to flatten your part and start out just ponty tailing it near the top. Don’t forget it doesn’t have to look perfect to end up looking cute.
Overall, when you’re doing your hair just remember practice makes perfect. It can get frustrating when it doesn’t look exactly how you envision so remember to be patient. Doing your hair, even if it is a simple look can make you feel ready to take on each day and even give you a little confidence boost. I hope you enjoy trying out these looks!
